How to Measure

• BUST/CHEST: Measure completely around the body at the fullest point of the bust/chest under the arms with the tape straight across the back and arms down by the side of the body.

• ARM LENGTH: Measure from bone at the top of the shoulder to the wrist.

• WAIST: Measure around the narrowest portion of the waist.

• HIPS: Measure around the fullest part of the hips (approx. 8″ below the natural waistline).

• BACK WAIST LENGTH “BWL”: Measure from the tip of the most prominent bone at the base of the neck to the natural waistline. This measurement helps to determine the top length of the body.

• GIRTH: Measure from the front of the shoulder down underneath the crotch and back to the same shoulder.

• SKIRT LENGTH: Measure in back from the natural waistline over the hips to desired length on the leg. Please give whole inch increments. All skirt length measurements are made from the bottom of the waistband to the hemline.) Available lengths: 12″, 13″, 14″, 15″, 16″, 17″. Select skirts are available in additional lengths.

• PANTS INSEAM: Measure inside the leg from top to the desired pants length.

• PLEASE NOTE: Innovative Spiritwear recommends that someone with sewing experience measure team members. We suggest that you have the same person measure all team members to ensure consistency. WE STRONGLY ADVISE AGAINST AN INDIVIDUAL MEASURING THEMSELVES. Please see our measuring guidelines above.
